International Coffee Protocol

Americans are very casual about their coffee.  They order what they want when they want it.  When traveling outside the United States, there is a coffee protocol.

Cappuccino or latte is ordered before noon.  Espresso is ordered any time after noon. When dining internationally, order an espresso after dinner rather than a cappuccino.
