To Ask or Not to Ask? – The Age Old Question

It is never appropriate to ask someone their age in a business or social setting.

There are times when exceptions are made for medical history, legal drinking age, or signing legal documents. However, these situations are for professional verification and records which are kept confidential.

If someone asks how old you are, do not feel compelled to answer. Many times I respond by simply saying, “A lady never tells.”
