Complimenting Weight Loss

When someone has lost weight, it’s very easy to say, “Wow!  You’ve lost weight.  You look great!”

Our intentions may have been good in offering a compliment, however, it could make the person feel as though they didn’t look so great before with the weight they were carrying.

Try to limit your remarks to, “You look great”, or “You look fabulous today”.  If the individual wants to share the fact that they lost weight, they may do so at that time.
