When greeting cards are sent, there are a few rules to follow to include an appropriate signature:
1) A couple’s signature should be signed with the man’s name first. Mike and Mary Smith.
2) A title of Mr. or Mrs. is never used.
3) A last name is not required for close friends and relatives. Mike and Mary.
4) When children’s names are include, the father’s name is first. The Smiths – Mike, Mary, Julie, Colleen, and Joe.
Never separate a man from his name!!! It is Mary and Mike Smith. Never Mike and Mary Smith.
