Never break a date once it is accepted. The only exception to this rule is the occurrence of an emergency. If an emergency does occur, contact your date and explain the situation. Do not leave your date waiting for you. This would be called “standing your date up.”
Under no circumstances should a date ever be broken to go out with someone else.
Think of the Golden Rule here, “Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you.”
