Dealing With Meeting “Chatter”

If you are in charge of a meeting and attempting to address a group while there are individual conversations taking place, simply stop speaking and wait patiently and pleasantly.  Your silence will get their attention.

I use this technique frequently when teaching.  Never attempt to speak over the top of the noise.
